Job Description
ROLE PURPOSE
- Timely and effective planning, execution, analysis and reporting of localization trials on biostimulants to support in understanding the products or develop key products which will contribute to the future profitability and growth of the business
- Execute product demonstration trials to support the Technical Lead/CPD, Marketing and Sales strategy and New Product Introductions (NPI’s)

Accountabilities
- Successful trials: Strive to achieve a 100% success rate of allocated localization trials in terms of quality and on-time delivery
- This role will be responsible for Biostimulant trialing execution + seeds from localization trials, development to demo trial activities
- Build solid & professional relationships based on recognized expertise & trust with stakeholders
- Proactive participation in and contribution to protocol management
- Regular reporting in prescribed format about local situation incl. market environment
- Collect and analyze market information & share to feed the Market Intelligence data base
- Timeous trial planning and execution along with the technical lead in the country
- Reporting of trial results. Also observations/results not specified in the protocol
- Identification of problems, opportunities and threats
- Technical assistance along with the technical lead and with the sales support and generators, marketing
- Built a good knowldge on Biostimulant and train the teams (CPD, Marketing and sales) on syngenta portfolio and key differentiators Vs competitors.
- Built a good vision on Syngenta portfolio positionning and contribute to a crop program shaping with syngenta offer.
- Contact and communication with internal and external Stakeholders
- Validates results and give recommendations / insights on performance of tested products and solutions at single trial level
- Follow-up of external trials and on the ground interaction with the Technical Lead
- Follow up compliant along with the country Technical Lead and provide details and summery on any evolving issue
- Equipment and store maintenance
- Keep abreast of market, trade and competitor activities in order to adapt to changing environments
- Identify areas for growth & provide innovative alternatives with business focus to contribute in the evolution of the Go-to-Market strategy & ensure its implementation in the geographical zone.
- Technical Support Specialist can also have an expert responsibility within cluster or country, which creates the following additional accountabilities:
- Spread expertise through result meetings, training and sharing of best practices
- Ensure that all operations under direct control comply with Syngenta Health, Safety & Environment policies and guidelines as well as any other relevant Syngenta or statutory policies
Experience
Qualifications
- B.Sc. / master degree in agriculture with majors in plant pathology, entomology, fertilization or agronomy, with minimum 5 years product development experience

- Good knowledge of products, Biotic and abiotic stresses,diseases, pests, nematodes, weeds and crops
- Good knowledge of agricultural practices and crop protection
