Corteva Agriscience™ is hiring for CP Category Marketing Manager. As CP Category Marketing Manager you will be responsible for:
- Aligned with AME business & marketing strategy, define, communicate & drive the marketing strategy to optimize business results for the full CP portfolio.
- People leadership: Lead by influence the LPCT; Local product Concept team
- Collaboration with Marketing Leader, Sales Leader, Key Account Managers (KAMs), Territory Sales Representatives (TSR’s), Local Product Concept Teams (LPCT), Country Leaders and the Marketing Agency contributing in creation and designation of innovative market inputs/tools for executing the campaigns
- Lead CP products marketing strategy execution with particular attention to new launches generating business growth & requiring adequate expertise & resourcing
- Communicates & gets buy in & support from AME & EMEA Portfolio managers
- This role reports to the cluster Marketing Leader, and is aligned with the Cluster leads and the regional Marketing Team (region, platform)
Your Challenge
- Create Integrated Marketing campaigns based on Market Segments with the aim of acquiring and retaining customers.
- Manage the procedure, implementation, tracking and measurement of marketing campaigns.
- Ensure that the organization’s brand and identity is adhered to in campaigns and in all communication channels.
- Improve new campaigns using data and feedback from existing and previous projects.
- Deliver regular reports of campaign results and evaluation of Key Performance Indicators (KPI’s).
- Maintain regular measurement of the Return On Investment (ROI)I of campaigns.
- Collect and use data to inform new campaigns and the evaluation of existing campaigns.
- Analyze various market segments, grower insights, product feedbacks and competitive dynamics to identify market trends, threats or new business opportunities and reflecting customer needs
- Manage cross functional Local Product Concept Teams to define new project requirements, to build business case, to describe strategic priorities, define product attributes, to design value proposition and create sales argumentation.
- Develop and implement product, area specific strategies, scheduling projects, price developments, label extensions and licensing-in opportunities over the lifecycle of the assigned portfolio in close relationship with Product Managers and in accordance with regional business strategies
- Manage cross functional Local Product Concept Teams to define new project requirements, to build business case, to describe strategic priorities, define product attributes, to design value proposition and create sales argumentation.
- Define product prices based on regional guidance, market research and anticipated demand
- Provide annual marketing plans for the given products and monitors them, track performance of products versus plan (prices and volumes vs PO, project stage reviews), investigate significant deviations, and recommend corrective action as necessary
- Establish activity charter for the year with timeline and share quarterly progress report
- Build market intelligence network, target competition campaign strategy
- Understand customer needs & market insight for developing effective campaigns
- Proactive support to Area leadership for business delivery
- Adherence to defined company values & policies
Key Stakeholders And Interactions
- Internal: Country and CU leadership, Marketing managers, Product managers, Portfolio regional team and commercial effectiveness, technical service, Sales, SPSC
- External: Distributors, Farm associations, customers, Ag Universities, agency, political Ag influencers, ag union associations…
Location: Morocco- Casablanca
This role requires extensive travelling- 50% Travel
Qualifications
To Grow What Matters, You Will Need
- Agronomic Engineer, Bsc.in Agriculture or equivalent
- Strong experience in marketing in the Ag-Industry is a must (+5 Years).
- Experience overseeing simultaneous campaigns
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Understanding of current market trends
- Excellent organizational skills
- Very good English communication skills
- Strong knowledge of the Crop protection market, especially in terms of the assigned product portfolio.
- Good understanding of operational planning as well as product development processes.
- Ability to successfully create, launch and manage brands.
- Strong analytical skills in market research, including economic analysis.
- Customer-oriented attitude
- Team player who can influence others
- Excellence in Microsoft Office, Word, PowerPoint and Excel
