The High Atlas Foundation is a Moroccan association and a U.S. 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization founded in 2000 by former Peace Corps Volunteers committed to furthering sustainable development. HAF supports Moroccan communities in human development initiatives such as promoting organic agriculture, women’s empowerment, youth development, education, and health. HAF is recognized by the United Nations Economic and Social Council with Consultancy Status. The organization is located in Marrakesh, Morocco.

Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Facilitator at the High Atlas Foundation located in Marrakesh. The Facilitator will be responsible for initiating, developing and managing projects, facilitating workshops and meetings, building relationships with partners and stakeholders, and monitoring project progress. The Facilitator will be expected to ensure that projects adhere to timelines, budgets, and goals.

Qualifications

  • Project management, planning, and implementation skills
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and facilitation skills
  • Strong computer literacy skills, including working with Microsoft Office and web-based platforms
  • Experience managing budgets and reporting on project outcomes
  • A bachelor’s degree in a related field, such as International Development, Environmental Science, Agriculture, or equivalent professional experience
  • Fluency in English and Arabic is required. French is a plus.
  • Experience in community development, agriculture, or rural development is preferred
  • A strong commitment to sustainability, human development, and the mission of the High Atlas Foundation
