Job Title: Business development consultant for Morocco

Job Overview:

We are seeking a dynamic Agronomist to spearhead the commercialization of novel, biological products in Morocco. The ideal candidate will be responsible for establishing partnerships with reputable companies possessing a strong marketing and distribution network across the country. This role requires proactive engagement with potential partners, including large-scale corporate farms and agricultural enterprises, to drive product uptake and sales. The consultant will play a role in market development and sales strategies, contributing to the growth and success of our business in Morocco.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Identify and approach potential partners, including companies with established marketing and distribution channels, to form strategic alliances for product commercialization.

2. Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders in the agricultural sector, including corporate farms and large-scale farming operations.
3. Create and implement effective marketing strategies tailored to the Moroccan market.
4. Conduct market research to identify opportunities, trends, and competitive landscape, providing valuable insights for product positioning and sales strategies.
5. Represent the company at industry events, trade shows, and conferences to promote products and build brand awareness.
6. Negotiate and finalize agreements with partners, ensuring alignment with company objectives and terms of cooperation.
7. Provide ongoing support and assistance to partners, addressing inquiries, resolving issues, and ensuring smooth product distribution.
8. Monitor and analyze sales performance, market trends, and competitor activities, recommending adjustments to strategies as needed.
9. Collaborate with internal teams, including production and regulatory departments, to facilitate product registration and supply chain logistics.
10. Maintain accurate records of sales activities, partnerships, and market developments, reporting regularly to management on progress and achievements.

Qualifications:

– Agronomist Or Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Agriculture, or related field.
– Proven experience in sales and marketing, preferably in the agricultural or agribusiness sector.
– Strong understanding of the Moroccan agricultural market, industry dynamics, and distribution channels.
– Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and negotiate effectively with diverse stakeholders.
– Results-oriented mindset with a track record of achieving sales targets and driving business growth.
– Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment, demonstrating initiative and adaptability.
– Proficiency in MS Office, email, report preparation, CRM applications and familiarity with the internet.
– Applicants must have native-level proficiency in local languages.
– Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel extensively within Morocco.
