Role Purpose
- To Implement and secure the realization of the annual field program of assigned trials, ensuring the necessary structure and support following the work procedures established in the certification.
- Report the trials in SCOUT with quality in form and time.
Key Responsibilities and Tasks
- Plan and implement field experimental activities so that the specified targets can be achieved, respecting the planned costs, the priorities and the specified timeframe. Provide all needed information for the interpretation of the trial results according to the protocol objectives.
- Management and documentation of samples to be tested: reception, storage and disposal.
- Collect field trial data (including observations and conclusions) in the SCOUT software, reporting with quality and on time as well as answering technical questions in the case of biological development trials.
- Work in close contact with other functions at local level and attend the technical trial visits to discuss the trials results, providing all needed feed-back on the trial conditions and results.
- Contribute to maintain the GEP certificate and ensure that all the registration trials are notified to competent authorities (ONSSA).
- Maintain your warehouse and equipments under internal and external safety regulations.
- Contribution to the identification of the unique selling points of key products under development.
- Contribution to the management of Field Solutions by proposing the introduction of innovative procedures and tools in order to improve the productivity and quality of development activities and the benefits of the solutions under development.
- Support integration and share of knowledge with other functions.
Experiences, skills and Qualifications
- University/Masters degree in agriculture or plant protection with at least 2 years of previous experience related to field experimentation.
- Good knowledge of trial methods used in plant protection products development and testing practices (trial designs, biometrics / statistic knowledge).
- Good knowledge of technical characteristics of chemical and organic plant protection products.
- Good knowledge of main crops, their agronomy and protection needs.
- Excellent analytical & IT skills, Data Science process & tools knowledge (Scout/ARM), and ability to write reports.
- Arabic mother tongue and fluent in French and English (verbal and written).
- Good organization and planning skills, ability to work in teams, good networking and communications skills.
