The goal is to have a product manager to support the person responsible for launching new varieties in the raspberry and blackberry lines.
Individual Accountabilities
- EMEA Rubus Crop Team Coordination
- Market Knowledge:
- Attributes sought in the market and segmentation.
- Main varieties and sales formats.
- Maximum economic potential of the market. Maximum potential of Planasa.
- Main competitors: strategy (club, license), strengths of their breeding programs, main varieties, selling prices.
- Obtaining and ratifying data, results and information for each product or variety internally:
- Annual and seasonal data for each variety
- Data and results comparation and analysis
- Generation of reports and slides of the Crop Teams.
- Product Assurance:
- 5-year production timeline monitoring.
- Importance of the product for operations and KPIs.
- Assurance of the strategic plan for production (nursery capacities and other options)
- Ensure the correct launch of products:
- Necessary technical material: creation and maintenance.
- Generation and control of technical training to the commercial department and farmers at the right times and in the right way.
Desired Profile
- Bachelor’s Degree in Agronomic or related field.
- Languages: Spanish, desirable. English, fluent. French, desirable.
- 2+ years experience
- Ability to create and maintain positive relationships with current and prospective customers.
- Ability to manage challenges.
- Demonstrated skills negotiating.
- Ensure sufficient collaboration with regional functions.
