A company is seeking a full-time Project Supervisor (m/f/d) to join their team in Morocco. The position is available for an immediate start.
Tasks
Project Supervision (80%):
- Monitor portfolio projects from a technical, financial, and sustainability standpoint, ensuring the achievement of target KPIs.
- Supervise the operations of their Moroccan farms.
- Lead the design and implementation of value-adding activities, such as processing and logistics.
- Maintain close collaboration with different departments to generate quarterly reports.
- Coordinate the annual valuation process with external appraisers.
- Take part in annual project remodeling.
New Transactions (20%):
- Collect asset-specific value drivers and input data for financial modeling and the preparation of investment memoranda.
- Coordinate technical due diligence and provide transaction support until the deal is finalized.
Your Profile
The company is seeking an experienced and passionate agricultural engineer with strong communication and writing skills. The following qualities and experiences are important:
Required:
- BA or MA degree in forestry, agriculture, agribusiness management, agricultural economics, business management, or a related applicable field.
- Technical knowledge in forestry or agroforestry systems.
- Excellent communication skills for stakeholder engagement and conflict resolution.
- Leadership skills to motivate teams and foster a collaborative work environment.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and adaptability to changing circumstances.
- Thoroughness and organizational skills.
- Strong knowledge of regenerative agricultural practices.
- Interest in sustainability and social impact themes.
- Willingness to travel.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
- Business fluency in French and English.
Desirable:
- Arabic, Spanish, or German fluency.
- Flexibility and ability to work under pressure.
- Willingness to stay updated on industry trends, attend relevant workshops or conferences, and continuously improve skills.
- Significant on-the-ground experience with date palms, olive trees, or almond trees.
- Professional experience in project management in the forestry or agroforestry sector.
- Familiarity with agricultural technologies, data analysis tools, and project management software.
