SupPlant provides high-resolution, real-time, and forecasted insights and irrigation commands for an accurate irrigation regime and practices.

SupPlant is looking for a motivated Sales Engineer to join them. As a Sales Engineer, you will be responsible for generating revenue by promoting and selling their products to potential clients. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background, coupled with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute sales plans to achieve the company’s sales targets
  • Identify and prospect new customers in the agricultural industry
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients
  • Provide technical support to customers, including conducting product demonstrations and presentations
  • Work closely with the product development team to provide feedback on customer needs and market trends
  • Prepare and present proposals, contracts, and pricing agreements to customers
  • Attend industry events and conferences to network and promote the company’s products
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to develop sales and promotional materials.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in agriculture, Agricultural Engineering, or related field
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in sales, preferably in the agricultural industry
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong technical background, with a deep understanding of agricultural products and services
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets
  • Willingness to travel regularly to meet with customers
  • English- fluent
