Martico Morocco is looking forward to strengthening its commercial team. We are looking for experienced sales executives to join our growing team and to contribute in shaping the ongoing successful journey.
The mission of the sales executive is consisted of:
- Commercial development: prospection, qualification, and targeting of customers under an organized and continuously grown sales pipeline.
- Field sales trips and visits: to organize and to run regular sales campaigns across the country and at the international levels (fairs & exhibitions) aiming to grow the commercial portfolio.
- Commercial planning: to elaborate sales plan taking into consideration Martico’s service offering and the market dynamics and seasonality.
- Customer relationship management: to take ownership on organizing regular QBRs and to be the first and direct stakeholder in holding and growing customer relationship.
- Market intelligence and reporting: to ensure regular supply of market insights thus feeding the decision-making process. To take ownership on elaborating and presenting commercial performance reports and dashboard.
- Suppliers relationship management: to build sustainable and growing collaboration with key / potential vendors. this includes leading joint collaboration growth plans and holding regular review sessions to assess collaboration status.
- To maintain and ensure sales data quality: to be responsible for building reliable sales data across the CRM systems.
- Strategic development: the candidate should demonstrate ability to propose growth plans in new services based on his/her day-to-day interactions with customers and suppliers. he/she should be the driver for generating ideas about growth directions and to take ownership on executing the plans.
- To build collaboration with overseas subsidiaries and to organize trade lane development initiatives with overseas colleagues.
- To act as the customer sponsor internally, transmitting the customer requirements to the operations team in effective way and acting as the voice of the customer.
- To participate in weekly treasury review and to safeguard the financial performance in terms of improving the ratio of »days to the account receivables/payables ».
Based on above description of the mission, we believe that the perfect candidate should demonstrate the following qualifications:
Technical qualifications:
- Minimum education qualification: bachelor’s degree from a recognized university. A master’s degree or a specialization in the business field is a plus.
- Fluency in foreign languages. Spanish is a plus.
- At least 2 years’ experience in similar function with proven understanding of the shipping and logistics sector in Morocco (the position is not for trainees).
- Comfortable with using digital tools such as CRMs, ERPs and pricing tools.
Soft skills qualifications:
- Ability to be part of a team and to bring positive energy.
- Resilience to pressuring contexts and perseverance to reach targets and to succeed.
- Willingness to learn and to go out of comfort zone.
