For their entity in Casablanca, BASF is looking for a Sales Specialist for the region Casablanca_Berrechid to join their Vegetables Seeds team .

What you can expect:

Functional / Operational tasks:

• This position is directly reporting to the country Sales Manager north and west Africa.

• Accountable for the sales achievement of his crops in Morocco directly or indirectly through daily contact with distributors, dealers, nurseries, and growers.

• Plan, review, adapt and execute the annual and/or more annual sales plan in line with M&S strategy in order to match the plan with the production plan and stock.

• Introduce company, product to (potential) national and international Key Customers in line with M&S strategy in order to inform and acquire customers.

• Formulate and negotiate with customers regarding annual and/or more annual contracts and concepts, within broader guidelines, in line with M&S strategy in order to realise the short-term sales targets and the long-term partnership relation.

• Steer the Customer Team to assure all aspects for the correct development of the projects being carried out with the Key Customers being the most proactive link to always anticipate the critical path and avoid failure

• Visiting customers and potential customers to evaluate needs and convert into sales opportunities.

• Main aim is achieving APV market leadership, by maximizing sales volumes in all growing areas of his crops.

• Be a member of different crop teams in EMEA and actively participate and help in achieving EMEA sales targets

• Collecting data on consumers, competitors and market place and consolidating information into actionable items, reports and presentations.

• Contribute to APV market leadership strategy, implementing and follow up of action plans targeting customers to enhance APV market share and boosting loyalty.

• Day to day (experimental and sales) activities & Build up a robust sales network and customer data base to APV that secure the strategic growth objectives.

• The support of sales in Morocco through his capabilities to promote APV varieties directly or through distributor’s teams and retailers.

• Customer relationship and coordinate the implementation and follow up of the local marketing activities through building, maintaining, and enhancing strong relationship with all stakeholders in the seeds value chain.

• Conducting different levels of trialing in main growing and potential areas.

• Concluding the experimental results at customer level and convert it to sales that will positively impact on our market share through.

• Take care of the money collection in line with the financial policy and the payment terms to ensure enough cash flow. 

What they expect:

Education

• Bachelor Degree 

Working Experience: 

• Breadth/depth of experience required (minimum 3 years’ experience)

• Experience working with similar systems in a similar business environment

Industry and/or Country specific requirements:

• Morocco

• Seed industry 

Technical & Professional Knowledge: 

• knowledge of vegetable seeds market 

• ability to communicate and influence

• team worker

• able to work in a matrix organization 

IT skills:

• Microsoft skills 

Language skills (level):

• Arabic 

• French

• English, business fluency
