Job description
In line with the AME regional strategy you will be responsible for managing and implementing an effective distribution network in the agriculture sector, in order to ensure long-term strategic and financial objectives are achieved.
You are also responsible for managing the day-to-day activities ensuring that short-term sales objectives & profitability are reached.
You will act as Brand Ambassador when representing a multinational Company at meetings, events and other work-related functions.
Key responsibilities
- Implement and deliver the commercial and marketing strategy in line with AME Management guidelines
- Promote the Company’s crop solutions and define the required steps to achieve sustainable growth
- Develop specific actions directly related to business development, innovation and growth
- Continue strengthen the Company’s brand leadership, consolidate distribution loyalty and end-user engagement
- Manage and ensure alignment of existing and new channel partners
- Engage with local dealers and retailers
- Organize demand creation activities with farmers to promote the Company’s Programs including demo plots, farmers meetings, and farmers field days
- Maintain focus on Premium offerings while optimizing total portfolio sales as appropriate
- Build relationship with local partners, authorities, research organizations, universities and other relevant stakeholders
- Carry out field trials, collect and document data, and make reports as required
- Research relevant sectors to identify potential new crop segments and product opportunities
- In charge of yearly marketing plan implementation including loyalty program, brand campaigns, product launches, conferences, market surveys, and data collection
- Work in close partnership with key distributors to optimize retail shop’s design, brand visibility & recognition
- Develop and implement training strategy for the distributors’ technical staff
- Regular follow up & communication of market intelligence
- Ensure all activities are according to lawful and ethical standards
- Follow up on all trademarks registration and related issues in collaboration with central team
- Proactively support other initiatives in line with the AME Management guidelines
All about You
- Minimum of 10 years’ experience in commercial, marketing and/or business development
- Degree in Business, Commercial, Agronomy or other relevant fields
- Strong negotiation and commercial skills
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Strong results orientation
- Strong communication and listening skills
- Strong interpersonal relationship
- High adaptability / flexibility
- Experience with Cultural gaps at work
- Fluency in Arabic, French and English, both written and verbal, Spanish is an advantage
- Ability to travel when required
